'Re-imaging Utopias' brief. Researching the ancient town of Redruth with utopian architecture, I began an improvised process of remixing stories of Redruth with an enhanced town layout where Science and Art are equally revered. I also produced a new piece of music for the project "New Jack City”. Using the industrial sound of mining to drive the piece in association with Detroit techno. "Cousin Jack" being a term for working cornishmen across the globe and the term to "Jack" coming from the home of techno both linked Via the Cornish Diaspora.︎︎︎ ︎Look out for AFX and the Drexcyians︎
